When Audrey was 3 years old she said she wanted to be a singer and asked for lessons.  We took her to Ivanna Taratula Filipenko where she received private instruction for 6 months in singing.  At about this time, we were reading children’s books to her.  She began acting out the books as if turning them into plays.  Her interest in theater and performance continued as she turned her attention to competitive figure skating.  Over time she would go to several theater camps, acting in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and the Little Mermaid.  All along she took ballet and for 2 seasons sang in the Contra Costa Children’s Choir.  In addition to several school performances, she sang in “By the Kids For the Kids,” a production created, directed, and performed by kids.

Her ballet teacher wrote:  “I have to be perfectly honest, Audrey is extremely talented.  She has a great physical facility for ballet, but her body is as intelligent as her mind (and a great face for stage – she’s so cute).  She picks up corrections quickly and implements them immediately, where other students take much longer.  I have a feeling that her ability and cognitive speed might contribute to her getting bored or losing interest.  Her rate of improvement has been very fast, and if she chooses to continue, I think she could have a bright future as a dancer.  She has been such a pleasure to have in class this year and I rely on her often to be in the front of the group, or leading lines, because she is a good leader, and of course always knows the steps.  She is also musical which helps immensely.”

One year for historical Halloween, Audrey wrote a report and dressed up as the first woman to win an Oscar for directing – Kathryn Bigelow.  This was no surprise as she previously made notes for years about a spy movie she wanted to write and even assigned names of people she knew to specific characters.

Hi, my name is Audrey Webb.  I live in Walnut Creek, CA.  I am 13 years old and passionate about the film world.  I have a deep drive to be on TV and star in some great films.  A special talent I have is I was a figure skater for many years giving me an extra edge.

At the age of 8, I was starting my journey through plays and writing.  The dream is to be a working actress in Hollywood.  I am currently working on beginning my process with an agent and posting on casting sites.  This started a couple months ago just with an ad of Instagram.

One of my big inspirations is Audrey Hepburn not only because of the name but the amazing acting and personality away from her job.  “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I’m possible.”
